Information we collect
We collect account and contact details, booking and event information, service preferences, messages, reviews, payment records entered by the business, and basic technical information required to operate and secure the website.
How we use information
We use personal information to create and secure your account, manage requests and appointments, communicate about services, maintain business and payment records, prevent misuse, improve the client experience, and meet legal obligations. Marketing messages are optional.
Lawful and limited processing
We process information needed to provide requested services, administer our agreement with you, meet legal duties, protect legitimate business and security interests, and act on consent where it is required. We do not require consent for uses unrelated to providing the service.
Retention
Account and booking records are kept while your account is active and for up to six years after your last transaction when reasonably required for business, tax, dispute, and legal records. General inquiries are normally retained for up to twenty-four months. Information may be kept longer when a legal claim or obligation requires it.
Sharing and service providers
Information may be shared only with providers reasonably needed for hosting, database storage, email, messaging, payment processing, professional advice, or legal compliance. Providers are expected to protect the information and use it only for the agreed service.
Security and international processing
We use access controls, password hashing, encrypted transport on the live site, backups, and reasonable administrative safeguards. If a provider processes information outside Jamaica, we will assess appropriate protections before using that provider.
Your rights
Subject to applicable Jamaican law, you may request access, correction, restriction, or deletion of eligible information; object to certain processing; withdraw consent where processing relies on it; and make a complaint about how information is handled.
Cookies and sessions
The website uses essential security and session cookies to keep accounts signed in, protect forms, and remember short-lived workflow state. Non-essential analytics or advertising cookies should not be enabled without an appropriate notice and choice.
Contact and complaints
Use the Contact page to make a privacy request or ask a question. You may also contact Jamaica’s Office of the Information Commissioner if you believe your data protection rights have not been respected.
